In 2017, Lindsey embarked on a personal journey to challenge her perspective of her self image. For Lindsey, she was conflicted on the truths of her physical appearance and no longer wanted to be afraid of her body.
What started as a small experiment blew up into something bigger than herself. Suddenly her self-healing began to resonate with other women of all ages. To share these experiences about the self and how we treat ourselves based on the skin we wear only gave Lindsey more drive to take on commissions and add more pieces to her wall.
These paintings are no longer self-portraits to Lindsey. These works are reflections and conversations to help heal and change the way the world views women in society. She is on a mission to continue to add additional live models of all walks of life to expand this conversation to every ear that needs to hear it.

Somewhere Not Here, 2020
Oil on Canvas
A repaint over the original version inspired by the Irish Experience in 2019. It is an ode to the life changing choices I made after the experience.
Sensibility, 2019
Oil on Canvas
Dipping my toes in the idea maybe I could be the artwork, not the one hiding behind the canvas.
